Place the heater on the floor at least 3 feet from furniture, pillows, bedding, papers, clothes or curtains. Some heaters can be mounted on the wall, but make sure it’s a heat resistant surface in a well-ventilated area.

It’s easy! Turn it off, unplug it and wait 5 minutes. Then plug it back in and turn it on.(With fireplace heaters ensure the vent cover on the bottom of the heater is free and clear of any dust or lint)

First, press the TEST button. This should make the RESET button pop up. Then, press the RESET button to turn your heater back on. (IMPORTANT: If the reset button doesn’t pop up when you push the test button, don’t use your heater. Check your User & Care Manual or contact Customer Service.

Rub-a-dub-dub, there’s no need to scrub. Clean the outside of the heater by wiping it with a damp cloth and buffing with a dry cloth. Be sure not to use any detergents or abrasives, and don’t let any water get in the heater.

The power switch is sealed in plastic for safer operation in the bathroom. DON’T REMOVE IT!

Using extension cords can be dangerous because of the high power the heater draws. We strongly advise against it for safety reasons!

Let your heater cool completely, then store it in a dry location. Be sure not to pile heavy stuff on top of your heater during storage—that could damage it.

The heater has electrical components and should be dropped off at an E-Waste recycling center. Find an E-Waste site near you.
