New Year’s Resolutions Worth Keeping

Discover 7 New Year’s resolutions for healthier living in 2017. All of which we think are worth keeping!

  1. TRAVEL

Set a resolution to travel more in 2017! Sometimes, it takes getting lost to actually find yourself. So go ahead and set your sights on new places this year.

  1. REBOOT YOUR DIET

Ditch the donuts and make it a point to eat cleaner. The SuperFood Swap is a great way to eat what you crave without the C.R.A.P.  So, take the challenge because you’ll be glad you did!

  1. GIVE YOUR TIME

Volunteer for a good cause at least twice year. There are great online resources like volunteermatch.org that can point you in the right direction. All you need to do is find a cause that means something to you and dedicate a few days a year giving back. You’ll be surprised at how much this actually changes you as well!

  1. GET MOVING

Pick up a new exercise routine. Looking to check a half marathon off your bucket list? This is the year to get moving! Push yourself to the limit this year. But remember, working out can be more fun with a friend.  So, grab your best pal and head outside or to the gym.

  1. DO SOMETHING GOOD (FOR YOU)

We don’t mean retail therapy, we mean sitting down with your thoughts and thinking about something you can do for yourself this year. Have you always wanted to learn to play piano? Do you wish you knew how to speak a second language? Go for it! This is the year to embrace change and that can start now.

  1. DETOX, DIGITALLY SPEAKING

We realize you may be reading this from your iPhone but try embarking on a digital detox – start with one weekend. For one weekend, put your phone down and only use it to make calls. You’ll be surprised at how refreshing it is to unplug. It may also help to ease any back or arm pain you may have been having.

  1. GO BACK TO SLEEP

Make it a resolution to get a better night’s sleep. Plug in a humidifier to add moisture back into the air, don’t look at technology for at least an hour leading up to bedtime, and invest in new sheets to cozy up with. All of these steps lead to a better night’s sleep.
